Big Success ! COADE/ImageGrafix CADWorx Discovery Tour Middle East - Feb 2008 COADE and ImageGrafix just concluded two highly successful technical presentations of CADWorx Plant design solutions. These events which several of our key clients throughout the region participated at were held in Abu Dhabi (Feb 11th) and Doha (Feb 13th). CADWorx Discovery Tours, organized in conjunction with ImageGrafix, COADE’s Global Network Partner covering the region, were part of a series of educational sessions featuring CADWorx Plant Design Suite 2008 that highlights new capabilities such as tighter integration between CADWorx Plant Professional and CADWorx P&ID Professional.
COADE Discovery Tour events in the USA, Australia, Asia, Mexico and Africa in 2007-2008 have attracted a record number of plant designers and engineers. “We are pleased with this high level of interest we are seeing, which we attribute in large part to the huge increases in the CADWorx Plant Design Suite user base over the past several years,” explained John Brinlee, sales manager of Plant Design Solutions at COADE. “Those attending have been overwhelmingly positive because of the nonsales approach of the agenda, and they seem to be delighted with a chance to see these products and hear about COADE’s future plans for developing CADWorx.” |

COADE announces PV Elite 2008 for Pressure Vessel Design and Stress Analysis with Code COADE has announced the release of PV Elite 2008, an enhanced edition of the company’s popular integrated pressure vessel design and analysis software that incorporates the latest ASME code updates to Section VIII Division 1. To help boost productivity, many more items can now be globally modified for ‘what if’ cost and engineering scenarios. New features in PV Elite 2008 allow you to create tubesheet layouts for shell and tube heat exchangers and generate ASME U-1 forms with design information directly from PV Elite in Microsoft Excel format for easy customization. Also, new graphical improvements provide enhanced representations of goose neck nozzles from bottom heads plus lug and support pads. New international codes include Australian seismic code 1170.4-1993, Canadian 2005 seismic and wind codes, the European EN 1991-1-4:2005 (E) wind code and the updated Australian Wind code. COADE is also releasing CodeCalc 2008, an updated edition of the engineering software company’s tool for individual vessel component design and analysis that comes as part of PV Elite. A complete list of the enhancements in PV Elite 2008 and Code Calc 2008 is available at www.coade.com.
PV Elite designs and evaluates pressure vessels and their components in accordance with ASME BPVC, PD-5500 and EN-13445. PV Elite provides engineers, designers, estimators, fabricators and inspectors with complete design of tall towers, horizontal vessels, "pots and pans" and individual vessel components. The software was designed for quick start up, and its graphical modeling capabilities are easy to use and allow for quick data assembly and pressure vessel design and analysis.
